The toy’s finished size is 13 - 14 cm.

These dolls are made as the Boy-Elephant and the Girl-Elephant. You can use the same pattern for both of them. They have some differing small details: 2 frills on the Girl’s dress and white stripes on the blue “body” (children suit) of the Boy, and two cute hats. My elephants have a wire frame inside their trunks. Therefore, the trunk can be bent both up and down. But you can make a bent trunk without a wire frame.

The pattern consists of 14 pages, including 20 step-by-photos and a small tutorial on attaching a head.

For the work you will need:
Crochet hook 1.75 mm

 

 

 

Yarn:
Acrylic ( 30 g / 180 m):
2 basic colors (for toy’s head, body, arms and legs) - about 15 g - pink (for the Girl) or peach (for the Boy)
red and blue - about 10 g - for clothing
white - about 5 g
black - a little bi

Plastic eyes any type
Aluminium wire, d~1 mm, length~12 cm (optional)
Filler of your choice
2 flat buttons for each toy (d about 20 mm)
